It is dedicated to the professional support and development of members of the LGBTIQ community throughout Sydney. Membership is open to business professionals of any orientation, and organisations that support the SGLBA and value the many benefits and opportunities that membership presents. We have over 400

members and around 2000 people on our database. Membership is diverse, drawing from all walks of life, including corporates, business owners, self-employed professionals, media/ arts, health and medical, legal, IT and more. Truly a reflection of society-at-large.

A night to celebrate talent, ambition and the future of our LGBTQIA+ community!

Join us at Ginger’s for the 2026 PBA Education Fund Awards Night, where we’ll recognise this year’s scholarship recipients, celebrate their achievements and raise funds to support the next generation of LGBTQIA+ leaders, entrepreneurs and change-makers.

LGBTQIA+ businesses do more than trade. They create places where people connect, gather, work, celebrate and belong.

That’s why the PBA welcomes motions from the City of Sydney and Inner West Council backing stronger support for LGBTQIA+ businesses, venues and community spaces.

This is an important step, but the real test is what happens next: better promotion, meaningful consultation, business roundtables, events, partnerships, grants and stronger inclusion in economic and nightlife strategies.
