Sewists of all levels are invited to join us tomorrow, Sunday, 25th October at the Hall from 11am ✂️

It’s the perfect time to start, finish or just enjoy your project again 🪡

A reminder we have been gifted a sewing machine and overlocker for anyone to use; it will be set up ready to go just in case you need it 🧵

Sunday Sew-cial takes place the fourth Sunday of each month from 11-2pm.

POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER - REVISED DATES TO BE ADVISED

🚧 Traffic Alert – Burgess Street Overpass Closure, Glass House Mountains 🚧

TMR advise that the Burgess Street overpass in Glass House Mountains will be temporarily closed to all motorists in both directions from 6pm Saturday 24 October to 6am Monday 26 October 2026.

🚗 Motorists are encouraged to follow the signed detour route and plan their travel in advance.

🚶 Shared path access will remain available via the existing path on the northern side of the overpass.

Tomorrow is our Community Garage Sale at the Glass House Mountains Community Hall.

Address: 8 Coonowrin Rd, Glass House Mountains
Date: 17th October
Time: 8am to 11am

There’ll be lots and lots of clothes (including good labels and jeans/denim). Household goods including a microwave, electric frypan, lots of cheap cd’s and books, toys etc. Everything must go!!

There will be 31 plus stalls there selling pre-loved goods from their homes and sheds. Come along and shop sustainably and pick up some bargains.

Rotary will be having a BBQ and there will be free cake (limited supply) to celebrate the hall’s 110th birthday.

Bring cash and bags.

🌸 Pink Bloom Party to Support Breast Cancer Treatment Trials 🌸

The Glasshouse community is invited to come together for a morning of connection, delicious treats and fundraising at the upcoming Pink Bloom Party, hosted by the Glasshouse Community Hall.

100% of all $ from ticket sales will be donated to support life-saving breast cancer clinical trials through Breast Cancer Trials.

Held on Thursday, 15th October from 10am to 12pm, the special event will raise much-needed funds for breast cancer treatment trials, supporting important research into better treatments and outcomes for those impacted by breast cancer.

Guests are encouraged to bring along their friends, wear a splash of pink and enjoy a relaxed morning tea while supporting an incredibly worthwhile cause.

Tickets are $25 per person, with morning tea and refreshments provided. There will also be raffles and fantastic prizes up for grabs throughout the morning.
