In the creative arts industry? The Hey Mate Project is running a FREE workshop next Wednesday 👩‍🎤👩‍🎨👯‍♀️
The morning will host honest and practical conversations about wellbeing and AOD within Australia's arts, music, screen, entertainment, performing arts and creative industries, and how we can build healthier creative communities together.

Located in Caloundra West, all the info and link to register for free in their post 🎭🎬🎸

☀️ SUNSHINE COAST CREATIVES — THIS ONE’S FOR YOU.

Next Wednesday, Uplift Queensland is coming to Caloundra West for a free morning of practical, honest conversation about wellbeing, alcohol and other drugs, and how we can build healthier creative communities together.

If you’re an artist, musician, performer, filmmaker, crew member, freelancer, producer, arts worker or creative practitioner — we’d love to have you in the room.

This isn’t about telling creatives how to live or work. It’s about giving our community better tools to:

✨ look after our own wellbeing
✨ recognise when things might be getting tough
✨ have safer conversations about alcohol and other drugs
✨ support a mate without feeling like we need to be the expert
✨ understand where and how to get support
✨ build healthier, more connected creative communities

Wednesday 23 September 2026
⏰ 9.30am–1.00pm
📍 Bellvista Meeting Place, Caloundra West

We’re excited to have our new flag and wall decals in place at our Centre!

Our decals feature words and values that were identified by local community members and our Steering Group during the development of the Centre, making them a really special reflection of what our Centre and community is all about.

A huge thank you to Cr Jenny Broderick - Division 1 SCC and Sunshine Coast Council for providing funding towards the purchase of these items. We’re incredibly grateful for your support!

And thank you to Roger and our amazing volunteer team for helping bring it all to life.

This Centre has been shaped by our community and we’d love for you to pop in and check it out!

Open Monday - Thursday 9-3 & Fridays 9-12:30!

See you soon ☺️
