We love hearing how our courses can support students at different stages of their journey! After 30 years away from the workforce while raising her family, this Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care student shared how supported, cared for and encouraged she felt while taking the next step towards returning to work.

It is wonderful to hear that the support she received throughout her studies made such a difference to her experience. Thank you for sharing such lovely feedback and for recommending MFO Courses to others.

Our courses are delivered in partnership with Strategix and are available at no cost to eligible participants.

A great day out for our Certificate III in Individual Support students! Our students visited Southport Bowls Club for a team-building activity, enjoying some friendly competition, plenty of laughs and the opportunity to connect outside the classroom. Building relationships, communication and teamwork is an important part of preparing for a career supporting others, and activities like this are a great way to develop those skills.

Interested in starting a career in aged care or disability support? Our upcoming Certificate III in Individual Support courses are government funded and available at no cost for eligible participants, with new intakes planned for 2027. Our Driving Operations students recently completed their first practical training session with the truck, putting their classroom learning into practice and getting a first-hand look at the skills involved in working in the transport industry.

The day was also a chance to spend some time together outside the classroom, with a BBQ and team-building activities to finish off the session.

A great start to the practical side of their training, with plenty more learning ahead!

A great day of practical training for our Driving Operations students! As part of their training, students took part in a manual handling session at the Strategix Transport Academy, working with load shifting equipment and completing practical tasks on and around the truck.

Manual handling is an important part of working safely in the transport industry, helping students develop the skills and awareness needed to move, handle and secure loads safely. It was a great opportunity to step outside the classroom, put their knowledge into practice and build confidence using industry equipment in a real training environment.

A lovely shared lunch with our Individual Support students! 💜 It was a great opportunity for everyone to take a break from the classroom, enjoy some delicious food together and spend time connecting with classmates.

Moments like these are a wonderful part of the learning journey, helping students build friendships, share experiences and create a supportive environment throughout their course. We hope everyone enjoyed the lunch and the time together!

Celebrating Rishika’s success! Originally from Fiji, Rishika began her course with MFO in August 2025 and celebrated her classroom graduation that December. In 2026, we continued supporting her as she worked towards her next goal: finding employment after her placement with Blue Care on the Gold Coast.

Now, that goal is a reality! Rishika recently popped into our office, proudly wearing her work uniform, to share the wonderful news and thank the team for their support. Looking confident and professional, she told us she is settling into her role and feeling welcomed by residents and staff. We are so proud of Rishika and the hard work she has put into building her future. Congratulations, Rishika!
