What a weekend for our Slade Point juniors! 💙
Our U8s, U10s, U12s, U14 boys, U15 girls and U16 boys did us proud at the Viking Cup Carnival, both on and off the field!
Our U8s and U10s played brilliantly together, showing teamwork in every game.
Both U12 teams went undefeated heading into the final, each winning 8 from 8 games! U12 Blue represented us in the grand final against the Nogoa Red Claws. While they didn’t come away with the win, they scored the only try against the Red Claws all carnival — an incredible effort!
Our U14 boys finished 3rd, doing themselves and the club proud.
Our U15 girls came away with two great wins.
Our U16 boys finished just one competition point shy of 3rd place.
Every team played with respect for themselves, their teammates, coaches and opposition — and we couldn’t be prouder.
A huge thank you to our junior sponsors for helping make our first season possible:

Pool Professionals Mackay
McGuire Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Thank you also to our coaches, volunteers and families for your support. We’ll keep learning, improving and growing together each week!
Enjoy some of our favourite moments from the carnival 📸
