Singleton Family Support Inc. Singleton Family Support Scheme Inc. is a community based organisation incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act since 1989 Our service aims to:
1.

Our vision is for a strong community where
• children are provided with a safe, nurturing place to grow and become responsible, fulfilled adults,
• families are supported and empowered to reach their potential with equity of access to information and resources, and
• individuals respect others’ choices and take responsibility for their own. Provide practical and emotional support to families and i

ndividuals in the community by providing a range of services as needed.
2. Help clients identify areas of concern and make appropriate changes, develop skills, self esteem and self confidence and gain knowledge so that they may function more effectively.
3. Enable clients to develop sufficient skills and self confidence so that they may become increasingly independent of welfare agencies and capable of maintaining themselves as a stable family unit through occasions of stress and crisis.

Deadly Safe Driving program coming to the Singleton Youth Venue.

This free program is available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people aged 16 years and over who have not yet obtained their P1 or P2 licence. Participants will take part in virtual reality (VR) hazard awareness training and receive two free driving lessons, along with gift cards for completing program surveys.

The program will be held at the Singleton Youth Venue on Thursday 6 August. Young people who cannot attend on the day are still encouraged to register their interest via the QR code on the flyer.
