The CWA Sundowners recently held our AGM and would like to introduce our new Committee Members!

A huge thankyou to all of our outgoing committee members for all of their hard work over the past 12 months - we couldn't do what we do without you!

A special mention to Tay who has held the role of Treasurer for several years in a row now and done an amazing job keeping all of the financials running smoothly. Thank you Tay!

Branch highlights and activities included Barefoot bowls, Cooking nights, IWD breakfast, South Korean themed night, supporting multiple local establishments (where we enjoy dinner out following our meeting). Our fundraising efforts also included Smoke in Broke Market Stall, in conjunction with the Singleton Day branch, Donation to the Singleton Neighbourhood Centre – Men’s winter clothing appeal and Share the Dignity Drive!

As always, everyone is welcome to come along to our next meeting and join in the fun!

A massive thank you to Priceline Australia Singleton Store for your support of our annual Share the Dignity Drive. We look forward to packing all of the goodies you have donated!!

The CWA Singleton Sundowners are holding our annual ‘it’s in the bag’ drive. We will be assembling bags to be donated to women in need, in time for Christmas through the Share the Dignity Charity.

If you would like to get behind the cause, we are accepting all forms of donations – bags in good condition, unopened toiletries, nappies, baby wipes, sanitary products, books etc (see full item list here - https://www.sharethedignity.org.au/itsinthebag).

A big shout-out to the Singleton Coles who have also provided a trolley for collecting donations (out the front of the store)!

We will be finalising collections and making up the bags at our November meeting - Thursday 13th November, 6.30 pm at the CWA Hall.

Thanks to everyone who joined us on Friday morning for our annual IWD Breakfast! Especially to our newest recruits who shared some valuable insights and conversation!

🌍✨ Our 3 Exchange Students Yuna, Abi & Hayley joined the Singleton Sundowners CWA Branch yesterday for breakfast, celebrating International Women’s Day! 🥳🌸
We look forward to seeing what great things are ahead for our exchange students as they continue to grow and empower, not only themselves but other young women they encounter. 🚀✨
