Looking to help support Gnarly Neighbours in a simple way? 🛹🤙🏼

You can collect your 10c recycling cans and bottles and nominate Gnarly Neighbours as your chosen charity through the container deposit scheme. ♻️

Every bottle and can adds up, helping us keep free skate lessons, creative workshops, mentoring programs and positive spaces running for young people in our community. Small actions can make a gnarly difference 🤝

Huge shoutout to our absolute volunteer legends who gave up their Saturday to help run our Bunnings sausage sizzle fundraiser! 🌭🧡

Because of your time, energy and community spirit, we were able to raise over $1000 while serving nearly 300 sausages to the local community. From cooking snags and setting up, to chatting with locals and bringing good vibes all day long, this fundraiser simply wouldn’t happen without people willing to jump in and help out.🫶🏻

Every sausage sold helps support free skateboarding lessons, creative workshops, wellbeing programs and positive opportunities for young people through Gnarly Neighbours. 🛹🤙🏼

Thank you for backing the mission, supporting local youth and proving once again that community really does make the difference. Absolute legends. 🤝🔥

Our Gnarly Changemakers are asking for your help 🤝

They have been spending every Monday after school getting together working on little ways they can give back and help their community 🏠

All their ideas and hard work has come to a project they called Care 4 me and you 🫶🏻

It aims to be able create care packages for people or families doing it tough. 💔

We’re calling on the community to get involved by donating useful items like toiletries, hygiene products, everyday first aid items, vouchers for (food,clothing,etc)

This is all about young people giving back, learning compassion, and showing that even small acts of kindness can make a massive difference in someone’s day. ❤️

If you’d like to donate goods or get involved, swing past The Neighbourhood between 4pm and 5pm on May 25th and help us make some real change together. 🤝

Please note we can only take the items listed, we can’t take any food items or clothing

From serving snags to spreading good vibes, every sausage sold helps fund free Gnarly Neighbours programs for young people across our community 🤙🏼

These legends give up their time to help create more safe spaces, free skate lessons, creative workshops and positive opportunities for local youth 🛹🎨

Swing past, grab a snag and support a crew backing the next generation the gnarly way 🌭🛹

Tomorrow Sunday 17th May 9am-12pm we’re teaming up with Little Projector Company for a free, hands-on creative workshop at The Neighbourhood 🤙🏼

Bringing together skateboarding, storytelling, art and technology in a fun and welcoming environment for all ages. 🛹🎨💻

Throughout the day, young people will be able to skate, take part in green screen filming, create live light-painted skateboard art, and share their personal stories and experiences through relaxed audio interviews. 🎬

The workshop will then be transformed into a large-scale 360-degree projection installation at Lights on the Goulburn 20th of June, showcasing local young people inside imaginative projected worlds while weaving together community voices, skate footage and creative artwork. 🖼️

The project is all about celebrating creativity, resilience, self-expression and the power of community through a unique interactive experience. 🫶🏻
