🔥 WHAT’S GOOD IN THE HOOD 🔥

WEEKLY HIGHLIGHT ✨
Our very own founder, Jayden Sheridan, was named a finalist for the 2026 Victorian Father of the Year! 🙌
Becoming a dad at 17 was the turning point that inspired Jayden to change his life, and eventually create Gnarly Neighbours. What started as wanting a better future for his son has grown into creating opportunities for thousands of young people!
We’re bloody proud of you, Jayden! ❤️

LEGEND SHOUTOUT 📢
A massive shoutout to the legends Sip Swirl & Stay Dessert Bar 🍨💕
Not only are they bringing delicious treats to our community, they’ve also generously donated vouchers for our Gnarly Young People of the Week!
It’s local legends like these who help us celebrate the little wins and make our young people feel extra special. Go show them some love! 🤙

MOMENT WORTH SHARING 🎬
We hit the road to Yea High School for an epic day of skateboarding lessons, giving students the chance to try something new, build confidence, challenge themselves and have a whole lot of fun! 🙌
A massive thanks to FRRR for the funding that makes opportunities like these possible, helping us bring the Gnarly goodness to more young people across regional communities! ❤️🛹

OUR FOUNDER IS UP FOR ANOTHER AWARD! 🏆🛹

Our very own founder, Jayden Sheridan, is up for a People’s Choice Award, and voting is officially open!

As proud as Jayden is to be recognised, in his words, this one goes out to our community. ❤️

To the young people who walk through our doors, the families who trust us, our crew, volunteers, schools, partners, supporters and every person who has backed Gnarly along the way, this recognition is shared with all of you.

Gnarly has always been bigger than one person. It’s a community that believes young people deserve somewhere to belong, people in their corner and opportunities to have a crack.

If you’ve got a minute, jump on, cast a vote and share the heck out of it! 😂 Every vote helps put a bigger spotlight on Gnarly, our community and the young people we exist for.

You can even go in the draw to win a voucher!

Our very own rad dad, Jayden, has been named a finalist for the 2026 Victorian Father of the Year! 🥹🛹❤️

We know him as the bloke behind Gnarly Neighbours, but behind everything he does, being a dad has always been the role he’s most proud of.

The same values that drive Gnarly, creating opportunities, backing young people, giving them the tools to grow and always showing up, start at home.

Pretty bloody special recognition, and one we know means a lot to him.

Big love to our very own rad dad! ❤️

🔥 WHAT’S GOOD IN THE HOOD 🔥

WEEKLY HIGHLIGHT ✨
Our mentor crew that did some training with the Gnarly Neighbours crew, ran their second session with grades 5/6 from their school. It was a huge success, it wasn’t just about learning skateboarding it was about making connections to tackle that nerve-wracking transition from primary to high school 🤝🏼🛹

SPONSOR SHOUTOUT 📢
Huge thank you to the legends Cox Solid Civil who have backed us since day 1 and continue to support us everyday day to make sure we can keep programs, events and opportunities happen for the community 🫶🏻

MOMENT WORTH SHARING 🎬
We were so lucky to be visited by our littlest shredders from Journey Early Learning, they came learnt about skateboarding with Brad and played heaps of fun games 🤙🏼
