Gnarly Neighbours is on the hunt for a Part Time Cafe Worker / Mentor / Program Facilitator to join the crew at The Neighbourhood in Seymour. 🛹☕️
This isn’t your average cafe job.
One minute you might be pouring coffees, the next you’re helping run a youth program, hyping up a young person landing their first trick, mentoring kids after school, filming content, helping at events, or creating a space where young people actually feel seen, safe and welcomed. 🤙🏼
We’re looking for someone loud in the right ways. Someone with good energy, confidence, initiative and a real passion for people and community. You’ll need solid barista experience, leadership or duty manager experience, strong communication skills and the ability to handle fast paced environments while still bringing good vibes to the space. 📝
The Neighbourhood is more than a cafe. It’s a youth led social enterprise and community hub built around skateboarding, creativity, mentoring and prevention. Every coffee, conversation and session helps support free youth programs, pathways into employment and safer spaces for young people in Seymour. 🏠
We want someone who:
⚡️ Can hold down a busy cafe
⚡️ Can connect with young people naturally
⚡️ Isn’t afraid to jump in and have a crack
⚡️ Brings confidence, personality and initiative
⚡️ Has experience in mentoring and programs
⚡️ Can help with social media/content creation
⚡️ Wants to be part of something bigger than just a job
Weekend availability is a must.
