You guessed it, the Crazy Clearance Lady tagged us in on savings, and this time it was at BIG W Green Hills and thanks to Officeworks we had the cash to make the most on what we needed and what were great crazy prices.

We are loving this team work, and so is our stock room, getting ready for back to school delivers.

Having a charity like The Backpack Venture is truly all about team work and bringing communities together to know no matter where you are you have people that can help and care.

We truly are starting to get a team built up of people trying to help in anyway they can, and let us tell you, sending our team a message or tagging us in on sales is truly a big help to the way we can shop to help more children.

Are you thinking of what to do today for yourself or the children? why not take sometime out and head to a park for a walk or play some games.

In our post we share some benefits to playing games outside and how it is good for our health.

Some of our team had some fun playing in the autumn leaves and our first game was to see who could find the biggest leaf, then the smallest leaf and then it was fun covering up in all the leaves. Whether you are a child or an adult or a kid at heart getting out and having fun and playing games is so good for your health and well being.

Tomorrow is National Walk Safely to School Day. 🚶🚶‍♀️

This year marks the 27th anniversary of the event. The day encourages students and families to walk to school together, promoting health, road safety, and active transportation.

Walking to school is the perfect way to start the day by getting some exercise and fresh air, ready to start school with a clear mind.

Here are some of the benefits you can enjoy when you choose to walk to school:
Walking with your children is a great opportunity to remind children about safe pedestrian behaviour and recap the rules of the road. It's also a great way to have conversations about school, friends and life at home and in the community.
