🌺 ANZAC Day Community Service – Withcott 🌺
We warmly invite you to join us this ANZAC Day as we come together to commemorate and honour all those who have served, and continue to serve, our nation.
Our Withcott Community Service, proudly delivered through a joint effort of local community groups and volunteers, will be held at Merryfields Park, Meadows Road, Withcott.
If you are available to lend a hand, community members are welcome to assist with event set-up from 6:00am. Chair placement will be coordinated with the Withcott P&C, while gazebos and sound systems will be set up alongside the Withcott & District Progress Association.
From 7:00am, the Withcott Scout Group will be operating under their Scout Tent, offering items for sale, with all proceeds supporting the Helidon RSL Sub-Branch.
The commemorative service will commence at 8:00am, conducted by local volunteers. We encourage all members of the community to attend and pay their respects.
Following the service morning tea will be held at the Steve Jones Community Centre adjacent to the war memorial hosted by the Withcott Helidon Lions Club. As it is each year, the funds for morning tea are provided by the Lockyer Valley Regional Council.
We also encourage you to continue your day of remembrance by attending the Helidon ANZAC Service at 12:00pm, supporting the Helidon RSL Sub-Branch. The Withcott Scout Group will again be present, selling items and proudly participating in the march.
