🎉 The wait is over! The fencing is down and the new Jean Biggs Park upgrades are now OPEN! 🙌

Be sure to drop by and check out the fantastic improvements that Lockyer Valley Regional Council has been working hard on over the past few months. It's looking great and ready for everyone to enjoy! 🌳

⚠️ Please note: After the school holidays, some temporary fencing will be installed around the skate park while the final refresh works in that area are completed.

We appreciate everyone's patience during the upgrades and can't wait to see the community making the most of our refreshed park! 😊

🌺 ANZAC Day Community Service – Withcott 🌺

We warmly invite you to join us this ANZAC Day as we come together to commemorate and honour all those who have served, and continue to serve, our nation.

Our Withcott Community Service, proudly delivered through a joint effort of local community groups and volunteers, will be held at Merryfields Park, Meadows Road, Withcott.

If you are available to lend a hand, community members are welcome to assist with event set-up from 6:00am. Chair placement will be coordinated with the Withcott P&C, while gazebos and sound systems will be set up alongside the Withcott & District Progress Association.

From 7:00am, the Withcott Scout Group will be operating under their Scout Tent, offering items for sale, with all proceeds supporting the Helidon RSL Sub-Branch.

The commemorative service will commence at 8:00am, conducted by local volunteers. We encourage all members of the community to attend and pay their respects.

Following the service morning tea will be held at the Steve Jones Community Centre adjacent to the war memorial hosted by the Withcott Helidon Lions Club. As it is each year, the funds for morning tea are provided by the Lockyer Valley Regional Council.

We also encourage you to continue your day of remembrance by attending the Helidon ANZAC Service at 12:00pm, supporting the Helidon RSL Sub-Branch. The Withcott Scout Group will again be present, selling items and proudly participating in the march.

On behalf of the Withcott & District Progress Association, we warmly invite you to attend the Withcott ANZAC Day Service.

🕗 Commencing at 8:00am

This service is proudly organised by local community members and made truly special by the many visitors who join us each year to pay their respects and honour those who have served.

Following the service, please join the Withcott & District Progress Association and the Lions Club of Withcott Helidon for morning tea at the Steve Jones Community Centre. ☕🍪

We look forward to sharing this important occasion with our community.
