UPDATED DONATION LIST!!!!

Renovations are going most fantastic-ly, and we are looking to open within three months!!

This is a list of some things we sorely need that our funding does not cover, and some things that would make our lives easier that is not funded either.

To make things simple, we are accepting donations on Tuesdays from 9-1pm at our new venue so we don't have to ask volunteers to run around after donations

🌟Happy New Year to all our family, friends and followers! 🌟

As many of you know, we've been super busy behind the scenes renovating our new space! We still have a bit to do, but we appreciate your patience!
The move was big but the work creating this community haven, is even bigger! We can't wait to share progress shots and invite everyone back to our space!

We're still closed to the public, but if you are looking to give back to the community we'd love volunteers to help with this huge undertaking.

Hi Community ❤️
We have been blessed with some wonderful donations of toys, lego, craft items that we are looking to gift to families in need this Christmas. We also have an abundance of women's size 6-8 clothes. At this stage, some items are wrapped and some aren't. Collection will be from The Day Village, House of Many Hearts. For those interested please message our page with your child's gender and age and if we have something suitable we will send the address. Due to amount of items, it will be a first in booked basis, so we kindly ask that if you book in to collect you turn up so others dont miss out. Pick up will need to be Friday 19th 9-11am or Monday 22nd 2pm -330pm from our group in Helidon Spa.

The Day Village is on the move! We’re thrilled to announce that our beloved community hub is relocating to a brand-new home — opening in 2026! This exciting move marks a new chapter for The Day Village, where we’ll continue to bring people together, support local families, and create a welcoming space for all. But before we can open our doors, we need your help for its completion theough trade support, materials and donations for essential repairs to get the new premises ready.
We’re calling on local tradespeople, businesses, families, and supporters to join us in making this vision a reality. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected community — right here at home!

Moving update …..
The Day Village is still closed to the public for our usual gathering and kids activities until 2026. However if you happen to have your cleaning game in high gear, then we need you!
The last of the clean and dump runs will happen on Tuesday from 8.30am to 10.30am, all hands welcome and very much needed.
We will then move focus from 10.30am to the new premises at Helidon Spa for unpacking. We will have a small space for kids accompaning parent helpers to have shades inside play while the unpacking begins.
- please be advised that guided supervision, activities and supports are not available so parents must take responsibility for their children on unpacking day.

🌟 Village Move – Week 2 Update! 🌟

We’re so close to finishing the big move, folks — and we need your help for the final push this Tuesday.

🧰 Jobs on the list:
• Taking down the play area fence (anyone with a star pocket removal tool, this is your moment to shine ✨)
• Cleaning up under the Village House (who knows what treasures we’ll find 👀)
• Removing the kitchen cabinets and benchtop — and if anyone has a truck or ute that can transport a 3-metre benchtop, we’ll love you forever (and maybe name a sausage after you 🌭).

🔥 Bonus reward:
To celebrate our progress, we’re firing up the BBQ for our first sausage sizzle lunch at the new location!
Bring your appetite, your sense of humour, and your best fence-removal face! 😄

Let’s get this last bit done and make the new village site feel like home! 🏡❤️

WE'RE MOVING!!
The dates set! Next Tuesday 28th October morning from 9am🌞
If you are interested in volunteering your time (especially those who like lifting!💪) Our volunteer run community group would love your help with a few big items! There's plenty of boxes including light ones to! So we need all hands on deck!

We'll be having our famous free sausage sizzle to feed all our volunteers!
If you can help out with big lifting we'd love it if you could send us a message so we can coordinate numbers! Otherwise see you next Tuesday!😊🫶

Whilst we are moving, our new home needs some love and care to be ready for the public! So stay tuned for updates on our temporary closure and reopening!

A Village Reminder-

While our kitchen is partially packed up for the move we are hosting our Village Lunch tomorrow as a Pot Luck!
If our families have the time and resources to bring a dish to share that would be great!

Also if anyone can bring packing boxes, bubble wrap and markers that would be so helpful.
