If you are new to our parkrun, or to parkrun itself, there will be a first timers briefing at 6:50 am, followed by the full event brief at 6:55 am.

Are you are celebrating a milestone or know someone that is? Please message or see RD Wayne tomorrow!

Please be mindful of parkrun rules:
•Kids under 11 to be within arms reach of their responsible adult-older siblings under 18 do not qualify
•One dog on the left on a short handheld leash

One million parkrun events!

1 million parkrun events. Sounds crazy, right? 🤯

This weekend, we’ll hit that incredible milestone.

A million events delivered shows parkrun is more than a 5k or 2k. It’s shared mornings, encouragement, and a community that turns up week after week.

Picnic Point Parklands parkrun #164 – 6 June 2026

What a fantastic morning at Picnic Point Parklands parkrun, with 40 walkers, joggers and runners joining us to enjoy a beautiful start to the weekend.

We were delighted to welcome visitors from Samford, Charleville and Highfields, along with eight people experiencing our event for the very first time. We hope you enjoyed your visit and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Congratulations to our first finishers, Miles Graham and Sinoia Chambers. Miles also recorded the highest age-grade performance of the day with an outstanding 63.44%, while Jennifer Peacock achieved the highest female age-grade result with 60.93%.

A huge congratulations goes to the eight participants who achieved new Personal Bests this week:
