Toowoomba parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am in Queens Park, Toowoomba. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Starting Sep 28, Toowoomba parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or female, young or old, to come t

ogether on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to walk, jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

Thank you to the volunteers that made today's parkrun possible and the 484 parkrunners and walkers who turned out to enjoy a beautiful morning.
See the statistics below.
We had parkrunners visiting from Brisbane, Canberra, Dalby, Dubbo, Caloundra, Casino and Goondiwindi. We hope you enjoyed your first parkun with us.
The only downside of the morning were a few participants who did not abide by parkrun's dog control requirements, which we announce every week before the event. Only one dog per runner/walker is permitted. Dogs must be hand held on a short leash. Extendable leads and waist leads are not permitted.

While we didn't specifically announce the requirement this morning - Runners/walkers not to have a dog in addition to pushing a pram please.
