Yesterday the Tjindu Foundation women’s teams came together for a fun and memorable Curtain Raiser ahead of the Adelaide Crows vs West Coast Eagles match.
It was a special opportunity to reflect on this year’s First Nations Round theme, ‘Strengthened by First Nations. Moments. Connections. Stories.’ Bringing our young women together in sisterhood and unity, celebrating our mob in sport and recognising how we continue to thrive when we come together.
There were plenty of laughs, some standout goal celebrations and a few star players who certainly didn’t leave empty-handed! 🤩🏉
A huge thank you to the Adelaide Crows for bringing us together to mark the beginning of Indigenous Round and for creating a space for our young people to connect, celebrate culture and be part of such a special occasion.
We were also incredibly proud to form the Guard of Honour ahead of the AFLW match. Another special moment for our young women to experience together.
