CHATS - Community Help And Togetherness

16/10/2026

A wonderful initiative from the kind crew at BAE Systems Australia. Each week over the next 12 months we will have additional supplies of fresh fruit, something we often run short on.
For a healthy diet this is one way to help our visitors increase their vitamin intake.
Thank you BAE Systems for thinking of CHATS with this fantastic grant. We look forward to you joining us shortly.

These legends are at it again. We
Love having teams from Flinders Port Holdings helping to serve the community.

What an honour to meet members of United Sikhs of SA.
Over the last 2 weeks CHATS has received 190 meals, not just any meals, these curries have been lovingly prepared and are full of flavour.

Thank you for helping those in our community. These meals have been taken away to be enjoyed over the weekend.

We often hear of the amazing support offered and it was a lovely surprise when they contacted us to share their kindness in delivering meals.

Special thank you to Harkirat from Gurudwara Sahib Modbury North and Daljeet Bakshi from Australian Sikh Support these meals not only help with food costs, they are healthy and absolutely delicious

Thank you from our community to your community

We love Surprise gifts and we have been spoilt with kindness.

Thank you Melinda Besenyei and work colleague Steve for saving and cashing in recycled bottles to purchase gifts and soup for CHATS Visitors to enjoy. Most gifts were distributed b4 I could grab a snap. Love the little chocolate included, very thoughtful

When you walk into the hall to find surprise boxes of goodies from Graeme The Hope and Lewis Lodge No. 75 - Freemasons SA & NT
Passing these gifts onto Visitors over the last 2 weeks has be a joy.

Wow, wow and wow! A beautiful surprise from a wonderful friend of volunteers Marg and Dean. A huge donation of pet food, pasta and baked beans.
We all understand the importance of pet companionship, the goodie bags given out each week help support pets and ease the financial burden.
Thank you all so much

If you know this local you will know what a big heart she has. Today Lyn Duerden from Roll'N on bower came in with a large collection of brand new track pants and socks.
These were purchased with an amazing donation from Costa and Hannah from Furkids Funhouse, thank you so much Furkids, these will certainly be snapped up quickly by those doing it tough.
I think my 2 doggies need a bit of time at Funhouse Royal Park, looks wonderful.

Oh yes, Lyn did manage to get up off the floor with a few laughs after the huge collection was dropped. A wonderful day of kindness
