Wrapping up the best 6 months! 🥹 A massive thank you to Josie for completing her workplace learning program here at CAHRS.

She’s been working with Madason in the Marketing and Communications team and has been an absolute superstar around the office and helping us get ready for the upcoming Canning Show!

We are so proud of everything she’s accomplished, and we're wishing her all the best for the rest of Year 12 and whatever comes next! ✨📚

School holiday fun = unlocked! 🎨✨

We had the absolute best time hosting our hands-on creative workshops at Westfield Carousel these school holidays! It was wonderful to connect with so many local families and chat about all the amazing opportunities for kids to enter the upcoming Canning Show Exhibition. 🏆

Little creators were incredibly busy:
🧂 Crafting unique salt dough ornaments
🖍️ Getting creative with the Canning Show colouring-in competition
🍎 Making fun fruit puppet paper crafts
🪡 Learning the wonderful skill of sewing!

An event like this doesn't happen without a village. A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers - Maxine, Colleen, Eva, Annette, and Ercan. We truly could not do this without your energy, smiles, and dedication! ❤️

We also want to extend a huge thank you to the team at Westfield Carousel for letting us use their fantastic space to bring a taste of the Canning Show to the community.

Cultivating the next generation of agriculture! 🐑✨

We were absolutely thrilled to sponsor local youth, including sisters Alexis and Leila, to attend the recent Young Sheep Handlers Expo 2026 run by Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia

Over three action-packed days, participants aged 9–22 dove headfirst into the world of sheep handling, husbandry, and showing. From learning about nutrition and breeds from industry experts to mastering ringcraft and judging, these young people walked away with hands-on experience, a ton of new knowledge, and glowing confidence.

Fostering passion, expertise, and opportunity for young people in agriculture is at the very heart of what we do here at CAHRS.
