Today Lisa Butterworth, our Head of Operations presented at the WA Sport Industry Conference hosted by SportWest 🙌🏼

The theme for 2026 is Beyond Sport: Where health, community and economy connect 🏀

Lisa presented on Preventative Health & Lifelong Participation, showcasing our Game On! Hubs in South Hedland, Broome and Kununurra ⚽️

She shared how our flexible, informal program format removes barriers to participation, builds trust through engagement and successfully connects youth with sport, healthy food and community pathways 🍎

Lisa also highlighted the amazing work achieved through Equip for Sport, our sports equipment donation program 🎾

It was a pleasure to share the stage with Karinda Lobb from AUSactive plus Jenny Atkins of Live_Lighter and Cassandra Bordin of SunSmart both from Cancer Council Western Australia ☀️

💛 Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan 💛

Yesterday we were honoured to launch our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan at the new Fair Game HQ 💫

Over 15 years we have built great relationships which have allowed us to support the health and wellbeing of many remote communities 🙏🏽

Our Reflect RAP has given us an opportunity to reflect and ensure our programs demonstrate the true spirit of walking alongside as we continue our journey together 🖤

A big thank you to all our special guests who came along to support us and to Samuel-Yombich Pilot-Kickett for the beautiful Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country 🥰

Earlier this year these little legends held a Be a Sporting Hero Free Dress day! 🦸🏼‍♀️

Led by the Year 6 leadership team, the staff and students at Palmyra Primary School donated pre-loved sport equipment and a gold coin, all while dressed up as their favourite sporting heroes! 🥰

This equipment and funds will go towards our Equip for Sport program, which helps to equip those in need with sports equipment and footwear to play the sports they love! 🏀

If your school would like to find out more about sustainability projects such as this, or sign up to be part of the WasteSorted Schools Program like Palmyra Primary, head over to the WasteSorted Schools page! 🙌🏼

All smiles in Warburton 😃

Our team had an outstanding week on the NG lands, returning to the beautiful community of Warburton 💫

Many Healthy Communities activities were run, including Healthy Smiles, Healthy Bellies and Healthy Hands 🧼

In addition the kids helped with two community cook ups of veggie packed fried rice and healthy pasta, plus our team hosted a fun-filled disco at night 🪩

A big thank you to Azure Capital for supporting our operations across the Goldfields, making special trips like this possible ♥️

Game On! in Strelley! 🏃🏾‍♂️

Earlier this year our team had the pleasure of visiting our good friends at Strelley Community School to run our Fit & Healthy in the Outback program 🏀

The kids loved our interactive Healthy Communities activities focusing on Healthy Lungs and Healthy Ears, followed by many hours of Game On! activities with Wedge-tailed Eagle being a firm favourite! 🤩

A big thank you to Hancock Iron Ore for their continued support across the Pilbara through in-kind support and funding of regional trips ♥️

Teamwork makes the dream work 💪🏽

Recently we had the legends from Melchor join us at Fair Game HQ, supporting our Equip for Sport program 🙏🏽

They cleaned, sorted and packed pre-loved sports equipment ready to be donated to those in need ⚽️

We are very fortunate to have an army of volunteers who support our programs, allowing us to help more people to participate in and enjoy the benefits of sport 🏀

What a week in Warburton! 🤩

Our team have flown all the way out to the stunning Ngaanyatjarra Lands, visiting the fabulous communities of Warburton and Jameson! 🤸🏾

They have been busy running Healthy Communities and Game On! activities as part of an expansion of our Fit & Healthy in the Outback program, co-funded by our good friends at Telethon7 Perth 🥰

Highlights have included Game On! at the Ngaanyatjarra Council Group Youth Centre and swimming pool (plenty of waterpolo and wedge-tailed eagle action), supporting a basketball competition in Jameson and running our own competition tonight! 🏀

Thank you to the Warburton community for making our team feel so welcome! 🤗

Au revoir to the fabulous Addie! 👋🏽

This term our Kununurra hub said good bye to one of our longest serving volunteers, Addie Curtin! ♥️

Addie has been instrumental in making this hub such a success and we’re so grateful for her efforts! 🥰

Addie’s favourite Fair Game feed is healthy tacos or burgers and loves taking part in her local parkrun Australia 🏃🏻‍♀️

Best wishes for NZ Addie, we’re so thankful to have you in the Fair Game fam! ✈️
