Food Group Bingo in Balgo! 🥳

Earlier this year our team had the pleasure of visiting our good friends in Balgo, running out Fit & Healthy in the Outback program with local youth 💪🏽

There was plenty of Game On! action, Healthy Communities activities, a cook up or two and lots of fresh fruit to share! 🍐

With 11 Kimberley trips in 2026 it won’t be long until our team head north again - next week in fact! 🤸🏾

Our Kimberley operations are proudly supported by the WA Government 👌🏼

Healthy Bellies in Nullagine! 🍎

Earlier this year we spent a week in the beautiful Pilbara running our Fit & Healthy in the Outback program with local youth 🏀

Thanks to our good friends at Healthway we have some highly engaging resources to use as part of our Healthy Bellies program, such as this Healthy Bingo game 🤩

Being able to gamify our activities is always a lot of fun and the kids just love it! 🥰

Healthway generously support our Mid West, Gascoyne and Goldfields programming and we are able to use these awesome resources across all regions! 🙏🏽

Did you know 2026 is our 15th anniversary! 🤩

Back in 2010 Founder and Patron, Dr John van Bockxmeer looked out a hospital window in Hedland and saw young people kicking around an old can. That moment sparked a movement that now spends over 270 days in WA’s remote communities each year delivering health education and fitness sessions 🍎

In addition over 17,000 items of sports equipment are donated around the State to increase access to sport 🏀

15 years on, our passion for building healthy, active futures through local partnership remains stronger than ever 💪🏽

Check out these little football superstars! 🤩

Last month our good friends at Edmund Rice Centre WA held a soccer tournament showcasing some amazing talent on the pitch ⚽️

Through our Equip for Sport program which is generously supported by Telethon7 Perth we were able to provide soccer balls, boots, other sports equipment and prizes to add to the event! 🙏🏽
This ensured every child was equipped for the competition and could put their best boot forward! 💪🏽

Legend status achieved: Welcome to our newest bunch of Fair Gamers! 💪🏽

This weekend these fabulous humans spent the weekend learning all things Fair Game so they can head to regional WA to help run our Fit & Healthy in the Outback program 🏀

They also had the pleasure of meeting and learning from the amazing Jahna Cedar who led the Cultural Awareness training yesterday 💛

A huge shout out to our awesome volunteers who gave up their time to bring the energy, the laughs and the vibes to make this weekend extra special for our trainees - Steph, Alex, Jayden, Aarav, Matt, Mitch, Emma and Theo 🙏🏽

And congratulations to our newest cohort, we thank you for your time, passion and dedication to our vision for an equitable, healthier and sustainable Australia 🍎

Fun times in the Pilbara! 🤩

This week our small but mighty team are in the sunny Pilbara, running our Fit & Healthy in the Outback program at Garduwarra Mia Community and Youth Support Services Inc. and Tom Price Primary School! 🥳

Highlights have included plenty of Game On! action, Mindful Movement, Healthy Bellies and plenty of fresh fruit! 🍊

Our team have really enjoyed meeting plenty of new faces and building relationships with this community ♥️
