Walking from Morley to Margaret River🩺 The father of seven-year old Aishwarya Aswath has walked more than 300 kilometres from Perth through the South West.

Aishwarya died of sepsis in 2021 after waiting almost two hours for treatment at Perth Children's Hospital.

Her father Aswath Chavittupara is fighting (and walking) for change.

“Every dollar we raise will go towards building a bulk-billed medical centre,” he said.

“The main intention for us is to provide good quality healthcare for all West Australians when they need it.”

I’ve reached Margaret River!
The final steps are done, and today marks the conclusion of this year’s Walk for Change.
The whole journey was emotional, and we did it for a good cause.

Thank you to everyone who supported, encouraged, and walked alongside me - your strength carried me all the way to the finish.

We will continue doing this every year as annual event of Aishwarya’s Foundation.

Day 5 completed!
Reached Busselton quicker than expected thanks to the heavy rain pouring down in Bunbury. Had to skip a few kms for safety, but I’ll make them up over the weekend.
Legs are sore, so taking some rest tomorrow before the final stretch on Friday.
Walk for Change 2025 continues.

Thank you to everyone for your support - it truly keeps me going.

Today’s goal: 52 km. Kicked off in the rain in Bunbury, but it’s cleared up - perfect time to pick up the pace while the weather’s on our side.
