Step Into Action Foundation is extremely proud of this announcement, as reported in the Sunday Telegraph!
Our mission has been to create a national movement using walking, connection, and kindness as a catalyst to raise funds and drive real, positive change for young people’s mental wellbeing through proactive, preventative mental health initiatives.
This government funding feels like a wonderful endorsement of everything achieved in our first year and we are proud to play our small part in this process and more widely to making a real difference to the lives of children who need it the most.
Thank you for the support of everyone who has walked with us so far. We look forward to continuing to step forward with you!
As special thank you to Rose Jackson the Minister for Mental Health in NSW for your support of Youth Mental Health.

🩷$200,000 TO HELP HONOUR CHARLOTTE’S WISH!🦋
Today marks an incredible milestone for Charlotte’s Wish.
As reported in today’s Sunday Telegraph, the NSW Government has committed $200,000 to the Charlotte’s Wish Scholarship Program!
This funding will help us reach more young people, providing early support to build their confidence, resilience, emotional wellbeing and sense of belonging.
Working alongside BREED Australia and Step Into Action Foundation, we have an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.
Our heartfelt thanks to NSW Minister for Mental Health, Rose Jackson, who has been such a wonderful supporter of Charlotte, her story and our efforts to create meaningful change.
We also thank the Daily Telegraph for sharing this important announcement and helping raise awareness of the work being done in Charlotte’s honour.
We wish more than anything that there was no reason for Charlotte’s Wish to exist. But we made a promise to our beautiful girl that we would do everything we could to honour her wish to help other children.
Today, that promise takes another important step forward.
