💙 Supporting the siblings who support our HeartKids 💙

Having a brother or sister with a heart condition can bring unique challenges, emotions and responsibilities that often go unseen. That's why we're pleased to share TeenSib Space, a free online peer connection group hosted by Siblings Australia for young people aged 13–18 years who have a sibling with a disability, chronic illness or additional needs.

TeenSib Space offers a safe, supportive and relaxed environment where teens can connect with others who understand their experiences, build friendships and know they are not alone.

Nathans Lawns and Gardens has officially started his 45km walk this morning, and what an incredible effort he's making for our HeartKids community.

I'll be with Nathan throughout the day, and I'd love to share some messages, videos or photos from our HeartKids families with him as he walks.

Tomorrow, our incredible HeartKids Ambassador Nathan will take on a 45km walk from Campbelltown to Leichhardt in support of heart kids and their families.

Before he sets off, we'd love to surprise him with messages of encouragement from the very families he is walking for.

Developed by local communities in the Northern Territory and facilitated by Children's Ground, these songs share important messages about heart health and rheumatic heart disease (RHD). We're grateful to have worked alongside the Children's Ground team to help make these resources available to more families and communities.
