THE HUNTER CUP RETURNS TO NEWCASTLE IN 2026

Over two unforgettable days, six divisions of volleyballers will battle it out across three iconic venues throughout Newcastle, culminating in a true celebration of volleyball pride and community spirit.

Teams from across NSW are invited to compete, with priority registration extended to our visiting clubs. This means spots for recreational teams are STRICTLY limited, so don't miss your chance to be part of HV history! New season JUNIOR MIXED social competition starts this Monday!
Great opportunities await for all juniors 14-17 to play weekly competition, make new friends on court, and practice volleyball in a fun social mixed environment.
We'll be forming teams and playing our first games of the 7-week competition on Monday 10th. Join the action and kick start your volleyball season with us!

Calling all 10-14yr olds keen to get started or level up their volleyball skills! Our wonderful Coach Dani is delivering Ready Set Spike, an amazing 7-week skill development program designed to give your kids all the skills and tools they need to start playing volleyball. This program will teach your child all the basics techniques of volleyball in a fun and encouraging environment and is perfect for young athletes just starting out on their volleyball journey!
Our program starts tomorrow, Monday 10th of August and runs from 5-6pm every week until the 21st of September at the PCYC Lake Macquarie.

This season brings a RARE event: a MIRRORED GRAND FINALS! Our GOLD MEDAL MATCH sees Panthers vs Sharks battling it out in both the Men's and Women's leagues. Two shots at glory, one epic rivalry, you do NOT want to miss this!

Just a reminder that our first trial for the Hunter Volleyball Senior Mens and Womens Representative teams for 2026 is this Sunday at Maitland High School. Our Women's trials are at 12-2pm and our Men's trials are 2-4pm.
