Male carers make up around 30 - 40% of all carers in Australia, however this figure may be under estimated due to men being less likely to ask for support or connect to services. These two handsome fellows joined us for a Male Carers Wellbeing Day in Western Sydney. It was a lot of fun! 😎

This group photo was taken just before morning tea on the first day of retreat(!) Carers are often quite nervous when they arrive, but our friendly facilitators and specialised programs are designed to help carers feel safe and reassured so that can really get the most out of this experience.

Being a carer can be very socially isolating. I love seeing our carers having fun, doing something new and connecting with new friends! 👩‍❤️‍👩
