The Newcastle International Birdman event is a non-powered flying competition for birdmen and women attempting to defy gravity and 'fly' from a platform into water. The International Newcastle Birdman will be held at Honeysuckle, Lee Wharf area on the western side of the Honeysuckle Hotel. The event will be a full day comprising of a number of different activities. Event activities commence at 9am with the main event starting around 1pm finishing around 4pm.
