A hard guy to get a photo of because he is far too busy making sure the biggest and best rodeo in the Southern Hemisphere runs smoothly!

From sun up to sun down, Gavin Tickle, our Arena Director, is behind the scenes making sure every part of the rodeo is running as it should. Problems get solved, things get sorted and, if something does go array, he is already on it before most people even know there was a problem - everything just keeps moving.

It takes the best to run the best, and we are incredibly grateful to have Gav in our corner. See you in 2027!

A huge thank you to our Platinum Partner, Ariat Australia — our exclusive Uniform Partner of Isa Rodeo.

We simply cannot thank Terry Donohue and the entire Ariat team enough for their long-standing support of Isa Rodeo, and for the support they have shown our new Board as we continue to build the event into the future.

Ariat has deep connections with the people up here in the North West, and their support goes well beyond Isa Rodeo. They are passionate supporters of grassroots events right across Queensland, particularly here in the North West (rodeos, campdrafts - you name it).

Backing our Community & Rodeo, thankyou AAA Vet Clinic

A huge thank you to Dr Kate Thompson and her staff from AAA Vet Clinic for being onsite with us throughout Rodeo Weekend.

Our animals and stock are always front of mind. They are the other athletes of rodeo, and their health, welfare and safety are paramount to everything we do.

We are incredibly grateful to AAA Vet Clinic for donating their entire veterinary service across the weekend, ensuring our stock had professional veterinary care available whenever it was needed.

It’s support like this from local businesses that makes a real difference. The generosity, commitment and community spirit of businesses like AAA Vet Clinic is a huge part of why events like the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo continue to thrive.

An event the size and scale of the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo simply would not be possible without the support of our State Government.

The Rodeo is more than three days of world-class rodeo and entertainment — it is an important event for the North West, bringing thousands of visitors to Mount Isa, supporting local businesses, creating jobs and delivering a significant economic impact across our region.

Cowboys & Cocktails at the 2026 Mount Isa Mines Rodeo. All thanks to Granada Station

A huge thank you to Director Hannah Hacon and the Granada Station crew for providing some very good-looking bar staff for the highly anticipated Cowgirls in the Capital Cocktail Brunch 2026! With more than 250 women in attendance on the Saturday morning of rodeo, it was no small task — but many hands make light work!

The boys were looking sharp (especially Sos), the cocktails were flowing, and the team kept things running smoothly. Thanks Hannah and the Granada crew for being an integral part of the rodeo, assisting with set up, co-ordinating the brunch and all the work behind the scenes!

Their team provided their services in kind across the entire rodeo weekend, keeping everything running smoothly. And let’s be honest… rodeo toilets are no joke and definitely not for the faint-hearted!
