π©·ππ A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO OUR 2026 COMMITTEE! πππ©·
As we wrap up another big year of netball, we thought it was only fitting to give a HUGE shout-out to the people who have spent the year behind the scenes making things happenβ¦ organising, emailing, meeting, planning, problem-solving and occasionally wondering βWhy did we volunteer for this again?β π
Running a club doesnβt happen by itself, and we are incredibly grateful for everyone who has put their hand up, given their time and helped keep the wheels turning throughout 2026.
β¨ Rachel England β President (beginning of 2026)
Rachel started the year as our President and put in plenty of work getting the season underway. Due to personal circumstances, Rachel made the decision to step down during the year. We would like to sincerely thank Rachel for everything she contributed to the club and for the time, effort and commitment she gave while in the role. π
β¨ Katrina Carrington β President
Katrina started the year as Vice President and stepped up into the President role when Rachel stepped down. Taking on the big chair is no small job, and Katrina has worked hard throughout the year to support our players, coaches, families and the club. Thank you for stepping up when you were needed! π©·
β¨ Allison Berry β Treasurer
Our money magician! π°π Thank you, Allison, for keeping an eye on the finances, numbers and all those fun little things that make sure the club doesnβt accidentally spend money we donβt have! Your work behind the scenes is hugely appreciated.π
β¨ Pauline Byrnes β Secretary #1
Thank you, Pauline, for all the emails, paperwork, organising, communicating and general secretary duties that somehow seem to multiply overnight! ππ We appreciate everything youβve done to help keep the club ticking along.π©·
β¨ Jess Lukac β Secretary #2
Thank you, Jess, for sharing the secretary duties and helping keep the chaos somewhat organised! π From messages and paperwork to organising and everything in between, your time and effort have definitely not gone unnoticed. π
β¨ Nicole Killip β General Member
Thank you, Nicole, for being part of the committee and jumping in to help wherever needed. Every helping hand makes a difference, and we appreciate your contribution throughout the year! π©·
To ALL of our 2026 committee β THANK YOU! π«Ά
It takes a lot of time, effort and commitment to keep a club running, and most of that work happens quietly behind the scenes. So from all of us at Allsorts, we truly appreciate the time youβve given, the jobs youβve tackled, the problems youβve solved and the countless conversations that probably started with βJust a quick questionβ¦β and ended up being a 45-minute discussion. ππ
π’ AND NOWβ¦ A LITTLE AGM NEWS!
Our 2027 AGM date will be posted once a date has been chosen, so keep your eyes peeled!
At the AGM, ALL committee positions will be declared vacant for the 2027 year.
And this is where weβd LOVE to see some new faces around the committee table!
You donβt have to know everything, you donβt need to have years of committee experience, and you definitely donβt need to be an expert at everything from accounting to diplomacy! π
If you love our club, want to get involved, have some ideas, or simply want to help out and be part of what makes Allsorts tick, we would love to hear from you! Send completed forms to [email protected]
Who knowsβ¦ maybe 2027 could be your year to discover just how many group chats a committee can have! π±π
Thank you once again to our 2026 committee for everything you have done. We couldnβt do it without you!
P.S if you would like a form emailed please email [email protected]
