🌿We are an ACNC-registered charity and cultural organisation in Mount Isa. Our mission is to support Lauans through faith, culture, and action, helping those facing financial hardship, visa challenges, or language barriers.

✨ We also promote and celebrate Lauan heritage through performing arts, dance, music, crafts, and design, keeping our culture alive for future generations. Together, we build strength, pride, and opportunity for our community.

"It is Christmas every time you let God love others through you" - Mother Teresa.

What a beautiful night we shared at the Yatu Lau Charity Christmas Party on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Mount Isa Rugby Union grounds.

The evening was all about the children, with the charity gifting them Christmas presents and plenty of smiles to go with them. Seeing their excitement and joy was a powerful reminder that Jesus is the reason for the season, and that Christmas is about love, giving, and caring for one another.

The spirit of community filled the air as families and friends came together, chatting over a BBQ, sharing laughter, and enjoying each other’s company. As the night went on, we danced, sang, and celebrated together, creating memories that will stay with us long after Christmas.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the night so special and to all who continue to support Yatu Lau in sharing hope, joy, and kindness throughout our community.
