Restore nature with us 🌱

At Carbon Positive Australia, we develop and implement environmental restoration projects. That means we’re on the ground planting native trees—and working with our partners to:

- Restore healthy ecosystems
- Boost Australian conservation and restoration
- Empower you to measure and reduce your carbon footprint
- Build capacity for tree-planting projects

Not only that, we’re creating the

best possible conditions for ecological restoration at scale. Carbon Positive Australia is a grassroots organisation with deep roots in Australia, and we strategically develop projects to address the greatest need. With over 20 years of experience, we’re experts in revegetation, reforestation, carbon measurement, carbon education, and environmental planting.

On Minang Noongar Country in Western Australia's Great Southern region, nature is making a comeback.

Five years ago, this site near Rocky Gully was a cleared paddock. Today, native bushland is returning.

Through our careful seed sourcing, propagating, planting and monitoring, over 12,000 native plants from 79 separate local species are regenerating habitat to create a healthier future for wildlife.

Every restoration project starts with a single step. This is what can happen when nature is given a second chance.

Please donate today to help us restore more native habitat. Every contribution helps us plant more trees. Donate here: https://hubs.la/Q04kVL-Y0

Community is at the heart of every successful Community Pocket Forest.

One of the most valuable parts of our recent Brentwood co-design workshops has been bringing people together to share ideas, local knowledge, and a collective vision for the space. From biodiversity and habitat creation through to accessibility and community connection, every conversation has helped shape the project.

By involving the community from the beginning, we are not just creating greener spaces. We are creating places people feel connected to, care for, and want to see thrive for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time, ideas, and passion to help shape the Brentwood Community Pocket Forest and its future as a sanctuary for black cockatoos. 🌱

Rebuild. Restore. Regenerate.

Across Australia, restoration projects are bringing degraded landscapes back to life - rebuilding habitat, supporting biodiversity, and helping nature recover.

With EOFY approaching, there’s still time to help create more impact where it’s needed most. Your support can help us restore more land, plant more native seedlings, and continue long-term regeneration projects across the country.

One year on, the Manypeaks restoration site is already showing promising signs of recovery. 🌱

Located on Minang Noongar Country in WA’s Great Southern region, this 21-hectare project was planted last year with more than 4,000 native seedlings across 34 species to help restore previously cleared farmland and rebuild habitat for native wildlife.

Following our recent Year 1 monitoring assessment, it’s encouraging to see the site establishing well and beginning its transformation back into a biodiverse landscape. Over time, this restoration area will help create a functional wildlife corridor supporting species including the Noisy Scrub-bird and Quokka.

Nature can recover, and this is just the beginning…

Nature can recover. But it starts with all of us.

Across Australia, we’re restoring landscapes, planting native seedlings, and rebuilding habitat where it’s needed most. This work is already making a difference, but there’s more to do.

Together, we can restore more landscapes and create lasting impact for nature. Donate before EOFY: https://hubs.la/Q04hCLXf0

Last Saturday, we held the second and final community co-design workshop for the Brentwood Community Pocket Forest.

Around twenty local community members came together to review and refine the landscape plan developed from the ideas shared during the first Workshop. Together, we considered all ideas put forward by the community and agreed to remain focused on the project’s core purpose: creating a sanctuary for black cockatoos.

It was fantastic to see such thoughtful discussion, shared knowledge, and genuine care for creating a space that supports both biodiversity and community connection.

We now look forward to planting day at the end of July. 🌱
