👀Looking for something different to do these school holidays in Melton? 🤔
🔎Mysteries Lost In History Paranormal Exploration in conjunction Melton Historical Society are offering a fully guided evening “Ghost Hunt” at the Willows Homestead for the school holidays.
What to expect….
The evening will start with a brief history of the Homestead followed by a ghost hunt using paranormal equipment.
The sessions are fully supervised and all equipment is supplied.
🎟Cost: $20 per person (only 10 tickets per session available)
📆Date: Thursday 14 April 2026
Session 1 – Youths aged between 12 to 15

The theme for this years’ Heritage Festival is Change – exploring how history shapes us and how we change history.

Highlights include a ghostly tour of the Willows Homestead, sketching at the Rockbank Inn Ruins, and celebrating 100 years of the Toolern Vale Fire Brigade!

THE HISTORIC WILLOWS HOMESTEAD MELTON WILL WAKE

The Historic Willows Homestead in Melton is opening its doors giving us exclusive access to wander and discover the mysteries of the paranormal that lie within.

Built around 1855, this hauntingly beautiful property has stood witness to over a century of secrets and stories.

The evening will begin with a talk by a member of the Melton Historical Society about the history of the venue and a recount of true tales long buried by time.

Then, step into the night for an exploration of the Homestead and it’s grounds. You will then receive your own paranormal investigation tools to connect with the voices and shadows that still wander its halls.

Follow your instincts. Listen closely. You never know who - or what - might answer.

An introduction to the history of the Willows Homestead
Exclusive after hours access to the Homestead
The use of a paranormal kit containing a wide range of ghost hunting tools
An introduction to the use of ghost hunting tools
