🎉 Exciting News from Hoppys Place Rescue Inc. 🎉
We are incredibly grateful to Agriculture Victoria for awarding Hoppys Place Rescue Inc. a $20,000 grant to help strengthen our rescue operations and support the animals and community we serve.
This funding will allow us to improve our quarantine facilities, creating a safer and more effective environment for animals entering our care. A dedicated quarantine area helps protect vulnerable cats and kittens from infectious diseases while ensuring they receive the care and support they need before transitioning into foster homes.
The grant will also assist with essential operational costs and enable us to upgrade our foster carer packs, educational resources, and handbooks. These improvements will provide our foster carers with up-to-date information, practical tools, and ongoing support to help them give the very best care to the animals entrusted to them.
Importantly, this funding will help us continue supporting members of our local community, including pet owners experiencing hardship, community outreach groups, and domestic violence survivors needing assistance with their companion animals.
As a volunteer-run rescue, every dollar makes a difference. This grant will help us build stronger facilities, better support our foster carers, and continue saving and improving the lives of animals in need.
