The Consortium is headed by a Consortium Executive made up of the CEOs of the four agencies. Stepping Up’s approach is non-judgmental and focuses on developing self-direction, independence and empowerment through the provision of seamless case management and coordinated therapeutic interventions. We have a
sound knowledge of the needs of marginalised individuals. Our programs informed by evidenced based practices which assist our clients in making real differences in their lives. Our clients have access to:
• Transition services for people with a history of offending and incarceration pre and post release;
• Supported housing and accommodation programs and specialist projects to assist access to stable accommodation;
• Specialist alcohol and other drug treatment and counselling programs including forensic services;
• Long and short term residential drug rehabilitation programs;
• Job Services Australia, Disability Employment Services and other employment services;
• Child and family support programs;
• Specialist employment & vocational education programs;
• Industry accredited training to ex-offenders to obtain industry recognised qualifications and licences that lead to employment;
• Adolescent health services, primary health services, specialist disability services, mental health and dual diagnosis health programs;
• Life skills programs and projects including outdoor adventure therapy, budgeting, cooking and financial literacy;
• Person-centred approaches, self-directed support systems, circles of support, and individual life planning;
