The Melton Interfaith Network successfully hosted the “Faith in Motion” event at the Caroline Springs Leisure Centre, with the valued support of Western Health and Melton City Council.

The event brought together people from diverse faiths and cultures to promote physical activity, wellbeing, and community connection in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Participants enthusiastically engaged in a range of activities, strengthening relationships and celebrating the diversity of the City of Melton.

The Melton Interfaith Network sincerely thanks Western Health, Melton City Council, Melton city young communities, St Francis Catholic College, United for Human Right Australia, volunteers and all participants for their support in making the event a great success.

MIN attended the Unite for Good – International Day event held today, Saturday, 20 June 2026, at Bacchus Marsh Grammar – Woodlea Campus, Aintree.

In partnership with Holstep Health, we are proud to host a new Peer Support Group.
We warmly invite parents who are carers of children with a neurodiversity or disability to join us for a monthly morning tea and chance to meet and chat with other carers. We understand that being a carer presents many challenges and this group aims to provide parents with invaluable peer support, as well as a break from their carer role.

The group will meet the last Wednesday of every month, from 11:00am to 12:30pm.

FREE – MEN’S FELLA-SHIP GROUP
Come along and have a chat, a cuppa and participate in activities and outings. Great if you would like to get out of the house.

NEIGHBOURHOOD GROUP
A fun group of ladies offering friendship, crafts, games, cards, outings and guest speakers. The cost is $2 weekly to the leader, which covers afternoon tea and special lunches including Christmas.

FREE – MELTON SOUTH COMMUNITY CENTRE COMMUNITY GARDEN
If you like gardening, we need volunteers to plant and maintain the community garden area at the Centre. Includes planning, planting, harvesting and upkeep.

If you enjoy singing, then come along and join the fun. Includes some performances at different venues.

FREE – MELMARSH PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
If you or a loved one is dealing with a prostate cancer diagnosis, you are welcome to come along to this monthly support group. Attendees are welcome to share their experiences or just sit and listen as the group discusses relevant news, developments, help and resources. Meetings are informal and confidential, and run by dedicated volunteers.

There’s an important local workshop later this month that’s all about addressing anti-social behaviour in young people.

The Ripple Effect Workshop, delivered by our Young Communities team in partnership with Victoria Police, will bring parents, carers and young people (ages 12–25) together with a focus on prevention and practical solutions.
Join us to kick off a ripple effect of safety and support at 10am – 2pm, Saturday 20 June at the Melton Youth Centre, 193 Barries Road, Melton.
