Early bird registrations for the U12 Country Skills Days are now open!

The 2026 Country Skills Days will be held on Saturday 25th July and Sunday 26th July at 10 regional academies across Victoria.

These Skill Day events are part of a development program for players of all abilities and standards from all associations located in regional Victoria. This will be an opportunity for identified athletes to be selected to participate in the U12 Country Jamboree in Echuca in September!

What a huge Easter it was for our amazing current & former Hornets basketball Academy junior athletes & coachs. Our athletes have been very busy competing in international, interstate and local tournaments. We have had players River, Gabe & coach Pat represent at Global Hoops international showcase & NBTC Manila live in the Philippines. Multiple players & coachs competing in U12 & U14 Junior Country Champs at Bendigo & Ballarat. Congratulations Lindsey u14 boys div1 🏆 & Alex for u14 girls div 5 🏆. Multiple athletes competing at the Adelaide easter classic. Congratulations Cruz & Jierial for winning u12 champ division 🥇. Pheonix & Charlie winning the 3x3 tournament at MSAC, coach Atto & team finishing top 4 AAU Easter Classic. Shai finishing 2nd at the AAU Easter Classic. Also a special mention to Alex who represented Victoria at the Australian Youth Athletics Championships in Queensland, Congratulations on finishing 6th in Hammer.
Congratulations former Hornets coach Nando on 3rd place at the u18s nationals with the Vic Country u18 mens team aswell.

We definitely have some very talented junior athletes and are very proud of their achievements.
