Darebin FUSE Festival 2026 lit up the municipality with 53 events across 10 days in September, celebrating arts, culture, creativity and community connection across Darebin.

We thank the Traditional Owners, artists, performers, community organisations, volunteers, partners, venues, presenters and audiences who helped make this year's festival such a success.

As one attendee reflected, "Such a beautiful community event, it had such a lovely warm feel to it!"

We can’t stop looking at these magical images from the opening night of THE CUBE by Born in a Taxi, which took over part of the Preston Market carpark for Darebin FUSE Festival.

πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡ Born in a Taxi's ENLIGHTEN was truly a divine experience – by turns gentle, playful and profound. Huge thanks to the Taxi team – co-presenters and artists extraordinaire.

Collaborating with our co-presenting partners at Preston Market to open the program in tandem with their first ever night market was nothing short of EPIC! Thank you for having us!

Sincere thanks to Uncle John Terrick for Welcoming everyone in attendance to Wurundjeri Country, where we are privileged to be and to carry out our work.

Our warm thanks to Mayor Emily Dimitriadis, for opening this special program!

Thank you to DJ Walla C, Tallboy and Moose, Island Home, the Inner Colour face painting crew, and all the incredible event team and suppliers on the ground and behind the scenes!

Thank you Wild Hardt for these glorious images!

And a massive thank you to the THOUSANDS of community members who came out to spend an evening with us!
