2 new arrivals today

Crested pigeon found in mop backyard not looking to well has small superficial wounds on the back, sone tail feathers missing not in the best shape, Vet checked is touch and go but will see how he/she goes 🤞🏻

Eastern grey kangaroo female Joey found In deceased mums pouch not injured very lively and doing well 💜

Both are settling In so have attached some pics sent to us from the mops.

Please help us help them 🦆🦇🦉🐢🦘

Rescues we’ve attended to.

Bullengarook
Kangaroo chased by dog roo jumped into the water not injured. Left as soon as it was safe.

Greenvale
orphaned kangaroo Joey mum hit by car died on impact.

Clarkefield
Adult Brushtail possum trapped in fireplace was discovered before fire had been lit so very lucky. Checked over not injured kept in care for the day and released at night.

Donnybrook
Injured kangaroo jumped fence fractured hip. Unfortunately injury was too severe for vets to save.

Sunbury
Sulpher crested cockatoo found In backyard sitting head tucked under wing under child’s playground. Very sick and under weight.

Greensbough
Crested pigeon attacked by a small dog has a few superficial wounds but should be ok

Mickleham
Injured kangaroo hit by car.

Sunbury
Long billed corella clipped by car very lucky suffered no break just some minor bruising.

Bulla
White plumped honey eater flew into window suspected concussion in care for some R&R

Kangaroo broken leg

Kangaroo hit by car broken leg

Brushtail tail possum crusty eye, vet checked no injury in care with some meds before released back.

Riddells creek
Eastern rosella found in garden unable to fly very skinny unwell taken to vet for vet check.

Sunbury
Advice for plovers nesting in school ground unfortunately we are unable to relocate any nesting plovers.

Craigieburn
Pacific black duck sore foot. Rescued taken to vet for X-ray.

Sunbury
Adult ringtail assumed to be trapped in a railing on a building on assessment he wasn’t stuck but was enjoying the warmth from the light.

Riddells creek.
Rainbow lorikeet flew into window vet checked mild concussion in care for a few days.

Romsey
Kangaroo pouch check

Essendon
Magpie trapped in building entrance rescued and released.

Sunbury
Brushtail possum pouch check

Melton
Kangaroo pouch check

Darley
Cockatoo sick unable to fly taken to vet for vet check.

Bulla
Corella entangled in twine rescued I don’t think has been stuck for too long as there was no damage to the foot will keep in care for couple of days just to be sure but so far s/he is so very lucky.
