In between the showers of rain this morning, 13 ladies enjoyed a lovely morning tea get-together at the Carriers Arms Hotel. We also welcomed our 'deserter', Jill & her hubby Ian, who are visiting our area and they joined us for a coffee & a chat. It was great to catch up with Jill and hear how their 'new life' over the border is treating them.

The theme for our club's September General luncheon meeting today was 'Spring has Sprung' and the tables were decorated with bouquets of fresh flowers. Everyone looked great in their colourful spring outfits and we asked our members to bring their decorated yard / garden hat. There were a few quite interesting decorated hats - thank you ladies.
We also had a very good attendance today and there was lots of chatter & laughter. Also, we were treated to a very interesting and informative talk about 'Fall Prevention', presented by a local physiotherapist. Thank you so much Kathryn for all the very useful information you gave us and we look forward to another visit from you in 2027 to give us even more very helpful information.

Before I post photos from our great social day of mini golf today, I would like to say a very big thank you to the kind & thoughtful person who found and handed our club's banner into the Maryborough Police Station. It is now safely back with our club. It is nice to know there are still kind & honest people out there - thank you so much.
