Mary Inc.

Mary Inc. We operate in 5 spheres: City Scape. City Smart. City Poppins. City Tourism. Cistern Chapel.

This was announced a few months ago and is a terrific move, adding lustre, activity and new life to a stunning heritage City Hall.
Mary Inc.'s strong focus is the revitalisation of the priceless legacy we have in the inner city but we have an urgent need to encourage restoration of other buildings.
The current town plan review does not support the enthusiasm in this video. It needs urgent scrutiny and a more relevant vision.
We must also ensure that our streets are safe and the council has a role to play in that.

This is an important message for Australians.

The Maryborough Time Cannon has been an important part of the city's identity for 144 years.

This is a blow to Maryborough's heritage charm. It seems absurd. Bureaucratic over-reach is doing so much harm to Australia. Could the Premier not grant an exemption?

The Cistern Chapel was dubbed the busiest toilet block from Brisbane to Jabiru by the crew from Infrastructure Rehabilitation Services when they worked outside the quirky dunnies on the weekend. They should know as they’ve worked on sewers the length and breadth of Queensland and beyond and have just finished a big job in the Northern Territory. The work is part of FCRC’s ongoing sewer manhole maintenance program and the crew “fully rehabilitated” the sewer manhole on the town hall green. Flusher Usher Nan Ott thanked IRS Operating Manager Michael Watson (centre) and his team Shane Parfitt (left) and Lucas Muir for providing a temporary shelter and comfortable chairs for the weekend volunteers while they carried out the maintenance. Originally situated in Brisbane, the IRS headquarters relocated to Maryborough last November because of the city’s ideal positioning close to a number of regional councils serviced by the team.

Know any children who might be interested in this event next weekend? It's turning into a great event for the city.

We had the cutest little visitor to the Cistern Chapel today, only 5 weeks old. One of the many wonderful reasons to volunteer as a Flusher Usher. If you can spare some time to help out, please message us on here, we would love to meet you!
