Surf Life Saving Sydney comprises volunteer surf lifesavers who have completed extended training in advanced first aid, water rescue techniques, rock-water entry, operations at night, emergency management, incident control and co-ordination, peer support, inter-service liaison and beach patrols in support of Surf Life Saving Clubs in the Sydney Region, from Sydney Harbour to the Royal National Park.

All boat crews are encouraged to get their entries in via Liveheats https://liveheats.com.au/events/572136 and be part of another exciting day of surf boat racing.

// What a fantastic day at the SLSS Infront Surf Craft Board Bash! Congratulations to all competitors who took on the surf and gave it their best effort.

A special congratulations to Luca (North Wollongong SLSC), winner of the Infront Lucky Door Prize.

Thank you to all Clubs, Officials, Age Managers and Water Safety Volunteers for helping make the event such a success. A great big thank you to Elouera SLSC for hosting our Carnival. And thank you to our Sponsors Betty’s Burgers and Infront Surf Craft for your support and prizes donated.

Volunteers Needed – Garie Support Patrol
We’re seeking volunteers for the Garie Support Patrol this coming weekend. We’re particularly looking for:
• Patrol Captain
• IRB Driver & Crew
• ART award holder
• BM award holders
Ideally, we’d love to have 5 members in total. Volunteers can come from a mixture of clubs across the Branch.
