***PCYC YES SCHOLARSHIPS – APPLICATIONS ARE STILL OPEN***

APPLICATIONS CLOSE FRIDAY 18 SEPTEMBER

The YES! Scholarship was initiated in 2021 by the Rotary Club of Sydney in partnership with PCYC NSW, with the aim of supporting and encouraging young people to pursue their ambitions.

Scholarships can support young people in areas including:
Sport, Education, The Arts or the Enviroment

Successful recipients of the scholarship can receive up to $3,000 to help pursue their goals and develop their skills and interests.

Encourage anyone between the age of 14 - 18 with the ambition to learn by reaching out to Chris at [email protected] to get a application form today.

PCYC Lithgow is excited to offer the Fit for Work program from our Lithgow club during Term 4 2026, and we would like to extend this opportunity to the youth of our LGA.
Fit for Work is a career readiness and educational program designed to prepare young people aged 16 to 18 for a successful transition into the workforce. Delivered over 10 weeks, with sessions held three days per week, the program includes:
• Accredited training (White Card & First Aid)
• Work placement opportunities
• Individual and small group sessions
Our goal is to support students in moving toward meaningful employment or training pathways.

Walanbang are holding a 2026 Youth Naidoc Ball on the 19th of September in the outdoor area at PCYC Lithgow.
There will be DJ's, Artists, and Food while celebrating the history and culture of Wiradjuri country.
This is a drug and alcohol free event.

We are excited to announce that we are in the process of seeing if there is any interest in the community for a mixed adult volleyball comp at Wallerawang Indoor Sports Centre.
Please contact Chris at PCYC at [email protected] if this is something you or a nominated team would like to participate in.
If we get enough interest, we will be looking at starting a comp in Term 4 for 10 weeks.

A big shout out and thank you to for supporting PCYC Lithgow in their latest Community Grants.
This grant will be going toward funding of our U-Nites on a Tuesday night, where we do different activities each week and provide dinner for kids to keep active and engaged in a safe space.

***SAFER DRIVERS COURSE 24/07/2026 and 25/07/2026***

Did you know you could be eligible for the Safer Drivers Course (upon successful completion they will receive 20 hours of logbook credit!).
To be suitable for the course you must meet the following measures:
🚗 have a valid NSW learner license.
🚗 Be below the age of 25.
🚗 Have accomplished a minimum of 50 hours of actual on-road driving (any credit hours gained under the Structured Professional Lesson (3 for 1) scheme must be excluded)
Module 1 Theory - July 24th - 4:30pm-7:30pm
Module 2 Practical - July 25th - Various Times
