On behalf of NSW Reconstruction Authority, Discover a compelling series of short films featuring real people adapting in our changing world. From across NSW, communities are adapting, preparing, and growing stronger in the face of natural hazards. Each screening showcases a selection of short films alongside local voices who share their perspectives on what adaptation means to them - and how we can work together to build resilience.

These inspiring stories highlight optimism and strength, set against real experiences of disaster and recovery.

Screenings will include:

Real stories of adaptation and resilience
A facilitated panel discussion
An interactive Q&A session

You can register your attendance below:

Well the time has come to close up the Community Closet in Main St.
Thank you to everyone in the community who has jumped in and supported us with what we wanted to achieve.
We would also like to acknowledge Lithgow City Council for supporting us with assistance from the very start of the program.
We are in the process of seeing if there is a way to continue this great initiative and will hopefully have an announcement very soon around this so watch this space.

PCYC is jumping in and supporting one of our supporters with raising money for Fight MND, by raising money and participating in the Big Freeze.
Chris will be jumping in and participating in the ice bucket challenge on Monday the 8th, and we hope to raise 1k to go towards Wallerawang Community & Sports Club 10k target.

You can donate through the below link. Thank you for your support to this very worthwhile cause.

Fighting MND starts with a choice. I choose fight. Will you join me? Every donation, no matter how big or small, goes directly to FightMND to fund vital research and support programs for those living with motor neurone disease.

A massive thank you to The Dirty Dogs Car Club for sponsoring the PCYC as one of their charity’s from their recent Trivia Night Fundraiser.
The night was fantastic at the Wallerawang Community and Sports Club, with the questions or answers being based around cars.

Michael came into our community closet store to present a $2000 cheque.

Absolutely amazing. Thank you Michael and the team for supporting us and what we are doing in the community. πŸ’™
