The FROLLLiCs are a group of dedicated supporters of the Library, whose aims are:
- To advocate for the Library.
- Raise public awareness of the activities, facilities and resources available at the Library.
- Raise funds for special projects, resources and equipment.
- Support the Library by hosting special events.

For all our supporters and friends of the Friends:), the next meeting of the FROLLLiCs is being held next Tues the 9th at 5.00pm in the upstairs meeting room in the library. If just want to see what happens, want to join ($10), just want to help out with an event (our next one is Celebrate Lithgow: stall and an amazing race) or simply want to heap praise on our hard-workers and incredible fundraisers, come along!

The last fundraiser was the movie night, where 'The Desk Set' was shown. This tongue in cheek comedy poked fun at the concept of replacing reference librarians with a computer. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? It was made in 1957! To show their support the Friends and their friends raised just over $250! Not too sneezy. Thank you to June for all her hard, hard work, Robert, June and Robert's friend (whose name has slipped through my colander brain!) , Norm and Maureen. And, Of course Ross Adam's, without whose dedication to the need for flicks, films, movies, shorts, docos, and cartoons in Lithgow, none of this would have been possible.
