Multitask is empowering people living with a disability to live rich & meaningful lives est. 1952 Multitask operates from several locations.

Multitask's vision of "Inclusive communities where people living with a disability can have reach and meaningful lives" has underpinned the provision of a unique, wide ranging group of services, aiming to increase the independence of people with disabilities and supporting them to make informed choices about the way they wish to live their lives. Employing over 300 staff and led by a dedicated Board and Management Team, Multitask has become recognised as a leader in the provision of support services to people with disabilities in the Northern Rivers Region. Multitask services aim to develop the potential of each individual to have a happy, secure and meaningful life that is both appropriate to each person's needs and goals. Its headquarters in Molesworth Street houses general administration as well as Day Services and Children's Services. Business services operate from South Lismore. Our disability services cover the Lismore, Nimbin, Ballina, Grafton, Tamworth, and Kempsey areas. Over recent years we have expanded the number and style of services on offer. It is our belief that each person is an individual and that the model of service delivery should match the persons own requirements and abilities. We continually look for innovative, effective ways in which we can support people with disabilities to lead active lives.

📣 Did someone say; GIRLS (& Squidward) TRIP?! 💃💃

Our girls had an absolute whale of a time at Sea World! 🐳

From striking a pose with Squidward 🦑, to checking out the adorable penguins 🐧 and venturing all throughout the park.

🎢 There were so many marine shows, beautiful sights and fun rides to keep everyone thoroughly entertained. 🐬

All in all, another fabulous day out and another bunch of hilarious memories made between besties. 🐡

Nothing says “bring on the weekend” quite like a sizzling pan of bacon and some perfectly cooked eggs! 🍳

👨‍🍳 Our participant was in the zone and putting their cooking skills to work; whipping up a breakfast of champions indeed.

🎉🏁Now THIS is how you celebrate a birthday!🏁🎉

🎂Why settle for just cake and candles when you can be surrounded by some beautiful classic cars?

Our participant headed off to the Kyogle Show ’n’ Shine & Swap Meet for a day of checking out some beautiful motors, browsing the swap meet, visiting the market stalls and just enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the meet up. 🚘

🍨And because no great day out is complete without a little treat, there was (of course) a mandatory ice cream stop before leaving.💯

✨We’d say that’s a pretty successful birthday indeed.
We can’t wait to celebrate the next one too!🎊

🤔The age old question; a day by the beach or the river?🤔

Lucky for us, there was no need to choose, as the day’s itinerary was strictly sunshine, fresh air, water views and relaxation. ☀️

🏝️ One of our participants enjoyed a beautiful sunny day by Minnie Waters Beach, generally looking like they had life figured out.

🏞️ Meanwhile, another participant was enjoying a stroll by the scenic Clarence River near Grafton.

Different locations. Different adventures… But both getting out into the community, enjoying the great outdoors and making the most of the day. 💯

We reckon if every workday came with this much sunshine and scenery, there'd be a lot fewer complaints about Mondays!😂

💲 The role is classified as Level 4 of the SCHCDS Award - $46.70 – $47.92 per hour.

⏰ The role is 76 hours per fortnight initially for 12 months with potential to extend.

Expressions of interest are invited for the role of SIL Coordinator to coordinate the day to day operations of Multitask residences in the Northern Rivers Region NSW, maintain a person-centred culture and support the provision of quality services.
This role involves a balance of administration/ supervisory duties and direct disability support work.

📍 Lismore & Northern Rivers, Kempsey, Tamworth

💲 The role is classified as Level 2 under SCHCDS Award - $36.22 – $37.36 per hour.

⏰ The role is shift work so you will need to be flexible to work a full range of shifts including sleepovers and weekends (available for at least 25hrs per week+).
