Ngulingah

Ngulingah The Ngulingah Local Aboriginal Land Council establish in 1983 based in the city of Lismore.

Ngulingah Land Council was established in 1984 by the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Rights Act of 1983. But contrary to popular belief, the NSWALC itself was actually incorporated in 1977 when 200 tribal members met in Redfern to discuss tribal rights at the Black Theatre. It was formed as a non-statutory organisation and lobby for Aboriginal land rights. The NSWALC demanded change in regards to

the abolishment of the Aboriginal Land Trust and renewal of Aboriginal land rights. With the passage of the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Rights Act of 1983 the grassroots organisation continued their struggle for Aboriginal land rights.
