NEW BLAKEBROOK MEGA TIP
Sitting at a info session at Goolmangar Hall. They (Lismore City Council) want to put in a massive regional tip site into the Blakebrook Quarry.
There were 30 other possible sites but this is the only one they’re getting community opinion on.
Kind of them to involve us once they’ve already made up their minds.
Going to draw unrecyclable toxic crap from Tweed Heads to Casino and from Byron to Kyogle.
Has to be a mega tip to be viable I’m assured.
It’s quite a gathering … the halls is filling up with compliant and quietly compromising locals?!
I think maybe their slimy fait accompli might’ve hit a grease trap.
