The words we use matter.

People coming out of the justice system often carry labels that follow them into job interviews, communities and conversations before they've had the chance to show who they are now. Those labels make it harder to get work. And without work, the cycle continues.

The people on our team are mothers, fathers, sons and daughters. They're our employees with a paycheck, and colleagues who are counting on them.

When someone gets that chance, the ripple runs further than you'd think. People get to take control of their future, families are reconnected and kids have a parent home. That's why we do what we do.

Big congratulations to August's employee of the month for Victoria!

The Hallam warehouse merge was one of the most operationally complex things we've done this year. Delivery windows, account setups, run reviews, order confirmations. Emah sat at the centre of all of it, trained two new customer service team members at the same time, and made sure every customer delivery landed correctly on day one. She's a superstar!

Learning and growth are something we celebrate in the day-to-day, in the warehouse and in the office. David has developed his leadership working on the floor, taking ownership of quality control and supporting the team around him. Here's what it means to him.

For 10 years, we’ve been creating opportunities for people impacted by the justice system, supporting more than 200 people into employment and generating an estimated $43 million in savings to taxpayers.

But the real impact is bigger than numbers. It’s people rebuilding their lives, reconnecting with families and getting another chance.

To celebrate this milestone, we’re hoping to raise $5,000 to bring together the people, families, staff and supporters who made this journey possible.

Fruit2Work has been named a finalist for Excellence in Social Impact at the 2026 Wyndham Business Awards, AND our CEO Simon Fenech has been named a finalist for Business Person of the Year.

To be recognised for both the impact we create and the people behind it means the world to this team.

Simon's story is a testament to the power of what Fruit2Work can do. He came through the Fruit2Work model as an employee before rising to lead it. The way he runs this business and the case he makes every day for what purpose-led employment actually looks like in practice is all grounded in knowing firsthand what is at stake when someone walks through that door.
