Today we remember the six million Jews whose lives were tragically taken in the Holocaust.

We honour not only the depth of that loss, but the profound strength and resilience of those who rebuilt, who shared their stories, and who chose courage in the face of unimaginable hatred.

Their experiences call on us to do more than remember. They ask us to listen, to learn, and to act — to stand up when it matters, and to shape a future grounded in kindness, respect, responsibility and humanity.

We will Never Forget.

As we welcome Pesach, we send our heartfelt wishes to you and your loved ones for a Chag Sameach.

This season invites us to pause and reflect on the enduring values of courage and resilience. In a time that has brought so much heartbreak and fear, these values feel more important than ever.

Together, with the support of our dedicated members and volunteers, we have continued our vital work — reaching students across NSW, QLD, and the ACT with stories that foster understanding, compassion, and the confidence to stand up for others.

Your ongoing commitment strengthens this community and helps ensure these messages continue to be heard.

May this Pesach bring you peace, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

We are heartbroken by the devastating events that took place in Bondi last night. On what should have been the first night of a bright and meaningful Chanukah, our community was met with profound darkness and pure evil.

We mourn for the lives tragically taken and extend our deepest condolences to those whose worlds have been broken.

At times like this, fear and grief can feel overwhelming — but it is precisely in these moments that our compassion, courage and solidarity matter most. We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to fighting hatred and antisemitism and to fostering communities where kindness prevails.

Tonight we will light another Menorah candle and pray that its flame brings healing. Even in moments of tragedy, a small light dispels much darkness.

Wishing you and your families a Happy Chanukah. May the season bring light, hope, and meaningful moments to you and your...

This week we delivered Upstander Programs to students from right across Years 5-12 at Scone Grammar School. Through powerful stories, open discussion, and interactive activities, students explored what it means to be an Upstander in their everyday lives and communities.

As the Deputy Principal Joseph Lynch reflected: “it was everything I expected.. and a little bit more.”

We are so grateful to Scone Grammar for welcoming us — and for the opportunity to inspire the next generation of Upstanders. Thank you! ✨

Last week we wrapped another delivery of the Common Ground project, a three-day education program developed in collaboration with The Ethics Centre and proudly supported by Multicultural NSW.

Hosted at Wollongong Youth Services, the program saw Year 9-10 students from across the Wollongong LGA come together to explore the causes and impacts of discrimination and prejudice.

Through problem-based learning and student-led discussion, Common Ground empowers participants with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to not only recognise and respond to discrimination, but to take positive action and promote inclusion at school, online and in their local communities.
