💙 A BIG THANK YOU TO JAX IPSWICH WEST – TYRES & AUTO! 🚗🔧

A huge shout-out to the team at JAX Ipswich West – Tyres & Auto for recognising just how important our vehicles are to the work we do in our community! ❤️

Not only did they squeeze us in today to make sure our vehicles were taken care of, but they also recognised the value of our community services and generously offered us a discount on our service. 🙌

Every $10 we save is another $10 that can go towards putting a meal on someone’s table. 🍽️💙 Small acts of kindness and support from local businesses make a real difference, helping us stretch our resources further and support more people in need.

To the team at JAX Ipswich West, thank you for your generosity, understanding and support of the work we do. We truly appreciate it! 👏

We encourage everyone to show them some love and support a local business that supports the community!

🏆 What an incredible night for Ipswich Meals on Wheels Inc.! 🎉

We were proud to attend the Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce Business Awards as first-time nominees in the Health & Care category.

Although we weren’t named a finalist in our nominated category, the night had an amazing surprise in store! 🤩

As the final award of the evening, the President’s Award recognises a standout nominee selected from across all 15 award categories. As first-timers, we weren’t even aware of this award — so you can imagine our excitement when Ipswich Meals on Wheels Inc. was announced as the WINNER! 🥳👏

We are truly honoured to receive this recognition and incredibly grateful to have our work in the community acknowledged in such a special way.

A huge thank you to the Ipswich Chamber of Commerce for a fantastic evening and for this wonderful honour. What a memorable night for our organisation! 💙

💪 A Busy Saturday Morning at Ipswich Meals on Wheels! 💙

It was all hands on deck on Saturday morning as we moved our frozen meal freezers downstairs! 🧊📦

This move is an important step towards reopening our hall for regular hire, allowing us to welcome back community groups and events into the space.

A big thank you to everyone who helped out and put in the hard work to make it happen. We’re excited to get our hall ready to be used by the community again! 🙌

If you missed it… 👀

Last night, 7NEWS Brisbane took a look back at 70 years of Meals on Wheels in Queensland in their Sunday Flashback.

And what a special story it was — celebrating the history, the people and the incredible community spirit behind Meals on Wheels.

We’re especially proud that it all began right here in Ipswich 70 years ago. ❤️

A wonderful reminder that Meals on Wheels has always been about more than just a meal — it’s about care, connection and community.
