This workshop sounds really great - can you attend? A Climate Fresk is an interactive game-based workshop to learn about climate change. Through cooperative problem-solving, participants work together to organise the 42 cards, based on IPCC climate facts, into interrelated cause and effect pathways to create a visual ‘fresk’ (short for fresco). It’s a great way to increase people’s climate literacy and have a bit of fun at the same time. Works well for those new to climate science as well as more experienced participants.

I have attached the flyer - there is more information on the back, as well as on the People for Nature website.

Rethink the ‘stuff’ in your life
Do you ever look at something you’re about to throw away and think, ‘There must be a use for this!?’ It could be a gadget with a broken piece, a shirt that’s too small, or some veggies leftover from last week’s grocery shop.
Our ‘Intro to the circular economy’ workshop will help you discover the hidden price (and potential) of everyday items, and change your relationship with the stuff you buy. Using loads of activities and discussion, we’ll help you stop seeing ‘waste’ and start seeing opportunities to reduce, share, repair, and reuse objects instead. Our goal is that you walk away with a new perspective on ‘stuff’ that feels great and can be put into practice across any aspect of your life.

Get tickets on Humanitix - REthink: Intro to the circular economy hosted by Going Green Solutions. Edendale Community Environment Farm, 30 Gastons Rd, Eltham VIC 3095, Australia. Saturday 3rd August 2024. Find event information.
