Do you ever look at something you’re about to throw away and think, ‘There must be a use for this!?’ It could be a gadget with a broken piece, a shirt that’s too small, or some veggies leftover from last week’s grocery shop.
Our ‘Intro to the circular economy’ workshop will help you discover the hidden price (and potential) of everyday items, and change your relationship with the stuff you buy. Using loads of activities and discussion, we’ll help you stop seeing ‘waste’ and start seeing opportunities to reduce, share, repair, and reuse objects instead. Our goal is that you walk away with a new perspective on ‘stuff’ that feels great and can be put into practice across any aspect of your life.

Permaculture Month is coming up!

Visit Homepatch for insight into how a family in a typical 1970’s suburban home integrates Permaculture principles into garden, home, household and community systems, with a focus on energy efficient features (this home has a 10 star Residential Efficiency Scorecard rating). This casual tour will cover a range of examples of Permaculture in action, plus leave plenty of time for asking questions and a cuppa at the end.
