🎉 That’s a wrap! 🇳🇵

The 5-day Passport Renewal Ghumti Sewa program in Tasmania has officially concluded, and we are delighted to share that a total of 406 passport renewals were successfully completed across Launceston and Hobart.

This achievement would not have been possible without the collective efforts and support of so many people.

Our sincere gratitude goes to the Embassy of NEPAL , Australia , for bringing this essential service to Tasmania and serving our community with dedication and professionalism.

A heartfelt thank you to Australian Federation College Launceston , Brighton Short Courses Tasmania Hobart, and everyone who generously supported the program by providing venues, hospitality, and logistical assistance.

To our incredible volunteers who dedicated countless hours before, during, and after the event, your commitment and hard work made this program a success.

Most importantly, thank you to the Nepali community of Tasmania for your patience, cooperation, and trust throughout the entire process.

Over the past five days, we have witnessed the strength, unity, and spirit of our community. It has been a privilege to help connect hundreds of community members with this important service close to home.

Thank you once again to everyone who contributed in any way. Together, we made this program a remarkable success.

Today is the final day of the Hobart Passport Renewal Ghumti Sewa program.

While all appointment slots have been fully booked, we understand that some community members may have missed the EOI process or were unable to secure an appointment. In an effort to assist as many people as possible, we will be accepting limited walk-in applicants between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM today.

Priority will be given to applicants whose passports have less than 6 months validity remaining. Although we cannot guarantee service for every walk-in applicant, our team will do its best to accommodate as many eligible cases as possible.

If you have an urgent passport renewal requirement and were unable to secure an appointment, please visit during the walk-in period with all the required documents.

What an incredible achievement! 🎉

Following the successful completion of two days of Passport Renewal Ghumti Sewa in Launceston, we are pleased to share that the Hobart program has also been progressing exceptionally well.

Over the first two days in Hobart, a total of 189 passport renewals have been successfully completed. 🇳🇵

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Embassy of NEPAL , Australia for making this important service accessible to our community in Tasmania. We also express our heartfelt thanks to Brighton Short Courses Tasmania for generously providing the venue and supporting the successful delivery of the program.

A special thank you goes to all community members for their patience, cooperation, and support, as well as to our dedicated volunteers who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

We still have one more day to go in Hobart.

To assist where possible, we will be accepting limited walk-in applicants tomorrow between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM for passports with less than 6 months validity remaining.

Thank you, Hobart!

Following two highly productive and successful days of Passport Ghumti Sewa in Launceston, we were pleased to continue this important community service in Hobart. The overwhelming support, participation, and cooperation from our community made the first day in Hobart truly rewarding and meaningful.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Brighton Short Courses Tasmania for generously providing the venue and supporting this initiative. Our heartfelt thanks also go to Jeeten photography for beautifully capturing the memorable moments throughout the program.

A special thank you to Danphe Nepalese Restaurant for generously providing delicious meals for our volunteers and team members . Your support and hospitality were greatly appreciated.

For community members who still require passport renewal services, limited walk-in appointments will be available this Saturday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Please note:
Walk-in services are strictly available only for applicants whose passports have less than six months remaining before expiry.
