The Friends of Peacehaven Botanic Park is a group of people who volunteer in a variety of ways to support our mission statement which is:
To enhance and maintain a peaceful and tranquil Botanic Park for current and future generations. The group operate a Native Plant Nursery which is run entirely by volunteers. Money raised from this endeavour goes back into the Peacehaven Botanic Park to improve

the beauty and facilities of the park. We work closely with the Toowoomba Regional Council to ensure the beautiful and tranquil nature of the park. The council is responsible for the maintenance of the Park's facilities and grounds. Anyone can become a member of Friends of Peacehaven for an annual fee of $10.00. There is so much to gain from becoming a member:

Our volunteers also operate the on-site native plant nursery which is open to the public on Thursday (9am - 12.30pm) and Saturday (9am - 1pm).

๐ŸŒฟContrary to popular belief, mistletoes are beneficial for the ecosystems in which they occur. Many of our local mistletoes are spectacular in flower. This talk will cover general information on mistletoes and show the local species you might encounter in the Condamine Catchment.
๐ŸŒฟGreg Spearritt is an active participant in the Condamine Country Plant Group, and has authored or coauthored a number of books on local plant species.
