Come join us at Highfields Tavern tomorrow evening (Wed 27 May) to learn from 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁 about 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗲𝘀.

🌿Contrary to popular belief, mistletoes are beneficial for the ecosystems in which they occur. Many of our local mistletoes are spectacular in flower. This talk will cover general information on mistletoes and show the local species you might encounter in the Condamine Catchment.
🌿Greg Spearritt is an active participant in the Condamine Country Plant Group, and has authored or coauthored a number of books on local plant species.

The nursery has just been stocked up. Great time to pick up a native plant and support your local Botanic Park. Nursery open tomorrow 9am to 1pm. We hope to see you there.

Native plants delivery at the Peacehaven Nursery. All sales help support our wonderful park. Opening hours Thursday 9am to 12:30pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.

🎁What better Christmas present than a book?
📖Read how a dairy farm established in the 1970s by migrants from Germany became the park we know and love today, thanks to the generosity of the late Stan Kuhl and the dedication of volunteers and local council.
📅Available Peacehaven Nursery: Thurs & Sat mornings till 13 Dec.
Also at Toowoomba Region Visitor Information Centres, and Cobb & Co Museum.
🌿All proceeds to Friends of Peacehaven to help finance projects in the park.
