💤🚌The Z Bus provides safe sleeps on Friday & Saturday night and care packs, food packs, snacks & a Friday BBQ🌭
Sleep pods are air consitioned and have USB charging& toilet.

💤🚌 For Mitch, with love

This weekend, as Mitch’s birthday approaches on Monday, we’re sending our thoughts and hugs to the Robinson family.

We know the days around his birthday will bring a mix of emotions, with beautiful memories, smiles and warmth alongside the sadness of missing someone so special.

For those who know Toby and his story, you’ll know that Mitch is a big part of why the Z Bus means so much to him.

What started as one little boy trying to make the world a kinder place after losing his big brother has grown into something pretty special.

Through Toby, his family and everyone who supports the Z Bus, Mitch’s legacy continues to make a difference in the lives of so many.

It doesn’t make the loss any easier, but we hope the Robinson family knows just how much good has grown from something so heartbreaking🩷

To the Robinsons, we’re thinking of you all as Mitch’s birthday approaches and hope the coming days are filled with special moments, shared stories and happy memories amongst the tears

Mitch may not be here to celebrate his birthday on Monday, but he’ll always be part of our story.

Thank you for the compassion, meals and support you’ve provided to so many people in our community.

We know how difficult the current operating environment is, with rising costs of living, increasing demand for services and the ongoing challenges of keeping community programs running. We also know that the decision to cease your breakfast service would not have been made lightly.

At the Z Bus, we’ll continue doing what we can to support those in need, including providing a Friday night BBQ and food packs for our guests. But we also recognise that no single organisation can fill the gap left by such an important service.

Now, more than ever, community support matters. If you’re in a position to help, please consider supporting a local organisation, volunteering your time, donating what you can, or simply looking out for someone doing it tough. Even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

It takes a village.

The rain ☔️ never stops the bus!! On this wet weekend we were grateful to our volunteers and to our guests to braving the rain to share food with us - we fed almost TWENTY guests across the weekend and 5 of those also joined us for a safe sleep.

Massive shout out to Rick Page who tirelessly runs the bus both nights most weekends - as well as other volunteers Bronco Jensen, David, Jason, Carolynne Naftel Debbie Coates Mandy Long and Heather Moore - you are appreciated from the bottom of our hearts
