Yesterday, some of our amazing ZBus volunteers braved the cold and foggy morning to lend a hand at the Hervey Bay Half Marathon Festival.

What a fantastic event! The atmosphere was incredible, with runners, supporters, volunteers, and community members all coming together to encourage and support one another. It was truly inspiring to see so many people united by positivity, determination, and community spirit.

A huge thank you to the event organisers for putting together such a wonderful day.

We love being part of a community that looks out for each other. 💙🚌

🌟 200 Safe Sleeps and Counting 🌟

Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone - 200 safe sleeps provided by the ZBus since launching on 1 August 2025.

That’s 200 times where members of our community have had a safe place to rest, shelter from the elements, and the comfort of knowing that someone cares.

While the number itself is significant, it’s the people behind each safe sleep that matter most. Every sleep represents a person who was treated with dignity, respect, and compassion during a difficult time in their life.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our amazing volunteers, the generosity of our supporters and donors, and the encouragement of our wider community. Together, you have helped create a service that offers more than just a safe place to sleep, it offers hope and a reminder that no one is forgotten.

To everyone who has volunteered, donated, partnered with us, shared our posts, or simply stopped for a chat and shown kindness - thank you.

200 safe sleeps is a milestone worth celebrating, but it’s also a reminder of why we do what we do. We remain committed to supporting vulnerable members of our community, one safe sleep at a time.

🌟 What a fantastic day at the Community Bank Hervey Bay Fun Day yesterday! 🌟

A huge thank you to Community Bank Hervey Bay for organising such a wonderful event and bringing together so many local community groups, families, and supporters.

We’d also like to give a special shout-out to our incredible ZBus volunteers who generously gave their time to help make the day a success. Your passion and dedication to supporting our community never go unnoticed.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who stopped by to have a chat, take a look through the ZBus, ask questions, and learn more about the important work we do. It was wonderful to share how the ZBus supports members of our community experiencing homelessness and hardship, and to connect with so many people who care about making a difference.

Events like these help raise awareness, build community connections, and remind us that when people come together, great things can happen.
